Research Interests

Chemists can design a variety of new molecules, which are not present in nature. The molecules prepared in a flask can be regarded as a scientific artistic product, and they have an individual specific character originating from its unique structure and chemical composition. We attempt to synthesis nanoscale molecules with a dynamically variable beautiful structure by synthetic supramolecular chemistry, and study their potential functions in material and life sciences.

Research Subjects
  • Design of Supramolecular Nanoclusters toward Discovery of Novel Functions and Properties
  • Chiral Science of Supramolecular Nanoclusters
